We’ve partnered with Mademoiselle Miel to bring a uniquely local sweetened chocolate to travelers. Mademoiselle Miel uses only local honey and maple sugar to sweeten its gourmet chocolates. The honey is collected from over 30 bee hives that are located on rooftops across the Twin Cities. Not only are Mademoiselle Miel chocolates helping to protect the honey bee population, but they are a delicious, naturally sweetened chocolate. Because honey’s flavor profile is directly impacted by the nectar produced by the plants in the location of the honeybees, and the season, travelers and locals have the opportunity to truly have a local taste of the Twin Cities through Mademoiselle Miel’s exquisite chocolates. You can savor Mademoiselle Miel’s decadent chocolates through the hotel’s gift shop, in our restaurant, Cosmos, and you may even get to enjoy other items during breakfast and dinner that have been sweetened by the honey produced from Mademoiselle Miel’s honeybee hives!

Minneapolis is known as “The Mill City,” for its heyday as the flour milling capital of the world from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Baker’s Field Flour & Mill is returning stone milling to the Mill City, and baking naturally leavened breads in Northeast Minneapolis using grains grown by local organic farms. Loews Minneapolis Hotel is excited to partner with Baker’s Field Flour & Mill, who combines old-world methods with new world organic farmers and artistry. Using the region’s incredible variety of grains, Baker’s Field Flour & Mill creates a local flavor unlike any other bakery in the Twin Cities. You can enjoy Baker’s Field Flour & Mill breads in the hotel’s restaurant and lounges – Cosmos, Apothecary Bar & Lounge, and Relevé, through in-room dining, as well as through the catering department.

The Herbivorous Butcher is a unique and one-of-a-kind vegan butcher shop. The Herbivorous Butcher’s mission is to deliver delicious tasting, fresh vegan meats for a happier, healthier world. By partnering with The Herbivorous Butcher, Loews Minneapolis Hotel will be providing travelers and locals alike the opportunity to have exquisite, flavorful dining experiences for a wide variety of dietary restrictions and choices. Cosmos will offer vegan meats on its breakfast and dinner menus; Apothecary Bar & Lounge will serve a vegan charcuterie board; and vegan meats will be available for banquets.
