Seattle is a city with no shortage of outdoor sights. From the iconic Space Needle, to the infamous Gum Walk in Post Alley, there are so many spots that can’t be missed. I checked in with our knowledgeable concierge team, and got to exploring. Here are my top 4 outdoor Seattle sights, with bonus stops along the way.

The Market

Visit Pike Place Market for the freshest seafood, local produce, and restaurants.

Take a quick detour on your way to the Market, and visit the Gum Wall in Post Alley.

The Space Needle

On a clear day, take the elevator to the top of the Space Needle for best views of the city and Mount Rainer.

The (partially) outdoor garden of Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum is breathtaking, rain or shine.

The Sound

Take a ferry to Bainbridge Island and explore its quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants.

While you’re down by the water, walk down to the pier and take a spin on the Seattle Great Wheel.

 The Local Spots

Be like a local and explore the unique neighborhoods of Capitol Hill, Ballard, and Fremont.

For an alternate view of the iconic Space Needle, visit Kerry Park.
